This one started life with a minimally machine hammered body with a pressed 3.5" bell. Multiple rounds of deep hand hammering provided fine tuning and raised the profile into a medium high shape with moderate-tight tension. A crystal clear stick click stays high above the complex wash that breaths beneath. Lots of complexity and interesting overtones when played alone, but sits beautifully and perfectly into a musical context. Very responsive stick bounce and a crash with lots of fiery sizzle. Perfectly separated bell belies its smaller size and keeps overall volume in check. This one is unique and sounds incredible!
